Alisa Wing

My name is Alisa Wing and I have been an active participant at St. John’s since November 2014. My daughter, Isabella, attends Sunday School in the Wigglers Classroom and enjoys playing in the nursery with the other children. I am originally from Attica, New York, which is near Buffalo. My father was in the U.S. Coast Guard and as a child, I moved around a lot. I’ve lived in New York, Ohio, Florida, Massachusetts and Maine. The Bangor area feels like home to me; I received my Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Maine at Orono. I then attended graduate school at Alfred University in New York state and became a School Psychologist. I am currently employed within the Hampden school district and I love my work. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Dustin, and we live in Levant with our daughter, two cats and a guinea pig. The Anglican tradition is close to my heart and I want to share it with others. I believe that there is good and kindness in the world and I want others to experience the beauty and love that God offers to all of His people. Thank you for this opportunity to better serve God, His people and His church.
